Speaker: Lisa Howley
Director of Philanthropy Research, Women and Infants' Hospital of Rhode Island
It has been said that actual, estimated and comparable assets are "the good, the bad and the ugly" of wealth collection. Yet actual asset data is typically hard to find for a majority of our prospects. Extracting meaning from estimated and comparable wealth assets can transform descriptive research data into a valuable resource for fundraising.
From this presentation, learn how to derive estimated and comparable wealth data when actual assets can not be found, and discover the strengths and pitfalls of various available free and fee-based resources.
Lisa Howley has worked in the Prospect Research field for more than 5 years. Since January 2005 she has been Director of Philanthropy Research at Women & Infants' Hospital of Rhode Island. Previously, she was with the Office of Development Research at Johns Hopkins Institutions. During her time with Johns Hopkins she focused on the implementation and management of the Research Office's prospect identification, analysis and rating services.
Lisa is Chair of the 2005 APRA Mid-Atlantic Research Conference (MARC). She served as a Faculty Member at the 2005 CASE Conference for Development Research and Chair of the Prospect Identification Track at the 2004 APRA International Conference.
