DESCRIPTION
The presentation will be an overview of the unprecedented changes in Philanthropy, including recent trends and statistics on Annual Giving, Donor Advised Funds and Individual Giving. The session will cover suggested strategies for solicitation, cultivation and stewardship together with facts and findings from sources to include The Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society, The United States Census Bureau, Guidestar and more.

Having started in business in 1970, Jim spent 14 years employed by Xerox focused on both Marketing and Systems support for programs. In 1984 he joined Saatchi & Saatchi Direct in Rochester NY as the Chief Operating Officer. He developed the prototype customer profiling programs for clients such as Paine Webber, NYNEX, and ABC. He was Executive Vice President of POW&R from 1990 to 1995.
Target America was founded in 1995 to meet the rapidly changing needs of fundraising professionals. The company is based in Fairfax, Virginia.
Personally involved in reporting on the changing face of wealth and philanthropy and the integration of interactive technology into fund raising programs, Jim is a frequent speaker at AFP, AHP, APRA and NCPG conferences on the state of prospect research.
